The spark for Nerdy Nomad Travel came when my son Isaiah began traveling internationally. I noticed how little support schools offered for students navigating trips abroad — especially when it came to finding authentic, off-the-beaten-path experiences in art, culture, history, and adventure. I wanted to bridge that gap, not just for him, but for other students and families too.

Beyond student travel, I design trips for fellow food and wine lovers, weaving in local flavors and hidden gems. And as a fiber artist, I specialize in curating textile-rich adventures: yarn shops in tucked-away corners, dyeing workshops, sheep and alpaca farms, and cultural textile traditions that connect us across continents.
